About TULIP
TULIP is a non-profit organization driven by students at the University of Pretoria that aims to bridge the gap between secondary and tertiary education in the rural parts of South Africa. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners and we are dedicated to providing valuable support and resources to empower them on their educational journey. We believe in the power of education to transform lives and we are committed to creating opportunities for a brighter future.
TULIP is dedicated to creating a positive impact in the community by collaborating with schools, educators, and stakeholders to develop innovative programs that enhance the learning experience and prepare students for higher education. We are driven by a vision of inclusive and equitable education for all, and we work tirelessly to create a supportive environment where every student has the chance to thrive and succeed.
Our Initiatives

Empowerment Program
Our Empowerment Program aims to provide mentorship, tutoring, and career guidance to high school students, empowering them to pursue higher education and achieve their academic and professional goals. We are committed to nurturing talent and unlocking potential, and our program offers a range of resources and support to help students excel in their studies and prepare for the next phase of their educational journey.

Community Outreach
Through our Community Outreach initiatives, we engage with local schools and communities to identify specific needs and implement targeted interventions that address educational challenges. By collaborating with educators, parents, and community leaders, we strive to create sustainable solutions that enrich the learning environment and contribute to the holistic development of students in rural areas.
